Our lab is interested in emotion, perception, and memory. Our recent studies have focused on bottom-up and top-down factors affecting emotional engagement during processing of natural scenes, including: 1) stimulus repetition; 2) exposure duration; 3) stimulus size; 4) stimulus content; 5) individual differences.
       The lab is equipped to collect 256-channel EEG/ERP data using the BIOSEMI system. Other physiological measures that we use routinely in our research include electrodermal and cardiovascular acivity, facial muscle (EMG) response, and startle reflex.
